A team of five women with ties to the Pender area will be featured on an upcoming episode of the popular game show “Family Feud” hosted by Steve Harvey. 

Competing under the Stewart family name (the surname of their grandparents) and representing the community of Pender – where most of them graduated from high school – Angie (Simonsen) Rennerfeldt of Oakland, Colleen (Case) Habrock of Papillion, Heather (Simonsen) Tonjes of Ashland, Ashley (Simonsen) Eikmeier of Omaha and Kristina (VanDyke) Case of Atlanta, Ga., (where the show is taped) will face off against another family of five to name the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win cash and prizes.

The first airing of the Stewart family’s appearance on “Family Feud” will be this Monday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. on Sioux City’s KCAU-Channel 9 (ABC). It will also be shown later in the day on Omaha station KXVO-Channel 15 (CW) at 6 p.m.
